My name is Emily Caldwell and I'm a photographer for Polite in Public as well as compulsively shooting on my own. I grew up in England and all over the US and perhaps as a result, I have an affair with being on the move. This blog follows me as I try to spend one year on the road. I often post using my iPhone, but I prefer to put up real photos when I can. I see the road ahead, but I don't know where it will take me. It's the not knowing where I'm going that compels me to travel it.
Happy YEAR ON THE ROAD to me! I left Chicago a year ago and made it through an ice storm to get to Arizona by Christmas. It was then that I decided to try to spend a year traveling and working without living anywhere at all. Now if I could only figure out how to settle down…..
